DATA COLLECTION SYSTEMS BASED ON THE GSM NETWORK
Presenters: Farana, Radim
AbstractThis contribution presents some positive results of the research project MSM 272300012 focused on wireless communication, data collection and remote control systems. A concrete GSM controller, developed by a Czech company is used as data controller and remote control system operated by GPRS communication and/or predefined SMS messages. Developed control system allows collecting data and putting them straight to the MS-Access database, which could be used as a data source for data processing systems developed in some database system. The GSM controller can be used as a data collector only or for data measurement and transmitter to the superior data collecting GSM controller in a two-level architecture. It is also possible to control some simple technology system, receive commands and system values during SMS messages or GPRS, and many other possibilities.

VIRTUAL INSTRUMENTATION FOR PC-BASED DATA LOGGER AND ANALYSIS
Presenters: Patrascoiu, Nicolae
AbstractReal-world data logging applications are typically more involved than just acquiring and recording signals, typically involving some combination of online analysis, offline analysis, display, report generation, and data sharing. In this paper we propose a virtual instrument (VI) that converts a PC into a data logger. Measurement signals are converted into measurement data aid A/D converter CA3162E follow-up recording via LPT port. The virtual instrument display both current measured values and data recording and also deposit measured values into specified file. We propose, also, a virtual instrument used to offline analysis of measured and recording data

ANALYSIS OF BLACK SPHERICAL THERMOMETER
Presenters: None.
AbstractBlack spherical thermometer (or gloge thermometer) for measurement of parameters of living and industrial interiors is used for evaluation of indices of thermal comfort according to standard EN too. The one has output of the operative or globe temperature. Requirements of standard are defined only partly. In the starting period of research and development of measurement, evaluation and control system of thermal comfort a real black spherical temperature was tested. Date and information of its static and dynamic parameters were measured. At same time these parameters were tested in program MATLAB-FEMLAB too. The measured and modeled date was compared and used them as input arguments for followed research and development of the problem of thermal comfort in interiors.

MEASUREMENT OF CAPILLARY SUCTION TIME
Presenters: None.
AbstractThe measurement of capillary suction time is used in laboratory and in practice like a simple, acceptable and enlargement method. Several conditions have to keep for a minimization of uncertainty in metering. Actual experience and results of analysis of uncertainty in whole string measurement of CST refer to necessity to propose a new solving of measuring equipment. His preference is first of all elimination of all negative influence near existing state. New solving measurement of CST fundamentally perfects and betters accuracy and negotiability.

Light effect on the transport characteristics
Presenters: Prochazka, Martin
AbstractWe study silicon nano-composite samples from Australian National Laboratory Canberra. Three samples with different density of Si-atom (A=3E17 ions amount/cm2, B=4E17 i.a./cm2, C=5E17 i.a./cm2) and one without this layer (blank). These samples were prepared with ion implantation. The goal of this work is detection of the transport characteristics of these samples. The light effect on the dependence dose of frequencies D(f), in the range from 10kHz to 100kHz were measured. Measuring cell with lighting system was built for this type of measurement with super-illuminative LED diodes ? red, blue and ultraviolet. The description of measuring devices and results are presented.

Vibration of Car Engine Running at Idle
Presenters: None.
AbstractAbstrakt: Subjective feeling of ride comfort is important for today?s cars. Random burst shaking while the car engine is running at idle is a phenomenon that is very disturbing for drivers. This phenomenon is a sign that is something wrong for suspicion customers. The paper deals with engine vibration measurements and consecutive assessment of engine trajectory shape. The measurement system was instrumented by PULSE, the signal analyser. Time history of vibration was spited into time interval corresponding to the engine double revolutions. The time records were improved by filtration in the frequency domain using the Fourier transform. The analysis results in planar orbit plots of the engine point where it is attached the absorber. This contribution presents some positive results of the research project MSM 272300012.

MONITORING OF LOGGED USERS WITH INTERNET SUPPORT
Presenters: None.
AbstractA network administrator can run up against a lot of problems he has to deal with at network administration. Besides problems which are related to an administration of fundamental elements of network as software installation, hardware corrections and changes, other problems are among a summary of basic data and network demands, a summary and location of working users, their running programmes, an amount of received and mailed data of a particular user, time and amount of registrations and deregistrations etc. This paper describes work on an assignment, which tries to propose a method and implement it for monitoring users´ activities mentioned above and presentation options of ascertained results. An application was designed as a type of client/server application where the client is represented with Windows system service. This service must be installed to all computers we want to monitor. A function of this system service consists of working out user?s monitoring activities. It monitors user?s registration and deregistration time, user?s name, determines an amount of received and mailed Bytes, monitors running applications etc. Consequently it mails these accumulated information to SQL server. The sending proceeds after the user?s deregistration. At registration it initializes the entire setup again and starts the monitoring for a new user. The stored information is presented at web sites through a web client. It operates as a set of dynamically generated sites. For a realization of the partial steps a technology .NET was used. System service has been programmed in C# language and web sites done by means of ASP.NET.

VECTORIAL CURRENT CONTROLLERS IN ASYNCHRONOUS MOTOR DRIVE SYSTEMS
Presenters: Imecs, Maria; Ioan Iov, Incze
AbstractThe real time control of the currents in vector controlled asynchronous motor drive usually is carried out in the rotating reference frame. This task may be performed with a reduced computational effort also in stationary frame, where the ordinary PI controllers exhibit errors. To obtain the same performances as in rotating frame a modified controller must be used. The paper deals with simulation and implementation of a stationary frame vectorial current controller and its use in an implemented vector control drive system. The experimental rig is described and experimental results are presented.
